If you live in Greater Cleveland and you are a poetry lover, join me at this free event sponsored by Cuyahoga County Public Library at the beautiful writing center in Euclid, just across the street from Notre Dame College. It’s free, but registrations are limited, so don’t wait. Here’s the scoop. Meet Author Jill Bialosky

Critically acclaimed author and poet Jill Bialosky will visit to discuss her new book, Poetry Will Save Your Life. This unconventional and coming-of-age memoir is organized around 43 remarkable poems by poets such as Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, Wallace Stevens, and Sylvia Plath. As Bialosky narrates pivotal moments in her life, she illuminates the ways in which poems offered insight, compassion, and connection, and shows how poetry can be a blueprint for living.
